J.V. Clark School will be hosting its Terry Fox Run on Friday, October 4th @1:30 PM.
We hope you can join us at the school to run or walk in support of cancer research and Terry's legacy. Last year, our community's fundraising efforts were unbelievable. This year, we've set the bar even higher: a community fundraising goal of $2700. Students will soon receive their fundraising forms, and donations can also be made to our school's page linked below. And as if raising money for cancer research wasn't enough, there are also several other incentives to donate. Students can win pizza parties and a chance to throw pie in their teachers' faces.
Most significantly, if we can crush our goal and raise $5000 as a community, the Wonderful Tara McCauley has offered to shave her head and donate her hair to make a wigs for cancer patients. I know we'd all like to see that.
